After Cocoon, two gold records and hundreds of concerts, Morgane Imbeaud embarked on a deeply personal journey. Amazone, produced by H-Burns, followed by The Lake with Robin Foster, established an intimate body of work in both English and French.

The Lake includes Nothing’s Real, No Rising Sun, Patineuse, Forgiveness, Fire and the title track. Conceived as a journey, the album moves between melancholic folk-pop, organic arrangements and cinematic scale.
